Do This When It Is Safe
Do not operate the camera or phone while driving. Deal with any immediate emergency first; review footage when safely parked.
Use the camera’s event-lock function if supported, or download the relevant recording through the approved app. Loop recording can overwrite older files. Save the period before and after the event as well as the main moment.
Check that the downloaded file plays correctly and includes the correct camera view. Save a second copy somewhere secure. Preserve the unedited original and note any clock error instead of altering the recording.
Follow your insurer’s or police force’s instructions for providing footage. Avoid posting number plates, faces or other personal information publicly when a private submission is more appropriate.

Check your model’s instructions and save the memory card safely. Do not format it while trying to fix a connection if it may contain important footage. Contact us with the product or job details for help.
